Cancellations and Refunds Policy
Last updated: January 25, 2026
This Cancellations and Refunds Policy applies to all transactions made through the Mihrab application operated by MeritLife Technologies ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"). By using our Service, You acknowledge and agree to this policy.
1. General Policy
Mihrab operates as a technology platform connecting users with religious institutions and organizations. All financial transactions made through our Service are considered final and non-refundable. This includes:
- Donations to Mosques, Madrashas, and other listed organizations (via Razorpay or UPI)
- Advertisement purchases
- Any other paid services offered through the platform
2. Donations - No Refunds Policy
All donations made through Mihrab are voluntary contributions and are considered final once the payment is processed. We do not offer cancellations or refunds for donations.
2.1. Platform-Managed Payments (Razorpay)
When donations are processed using MeritLife Technologies' payment gateway credentials:
- No Refunds: Once a donation is successfully processed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
- Transaction Fees: Payment gateway fees deducted from donations are non-recoverable.
- Finality: The donation is immediately transferred to the settlement cycle and cannot be reversed.
2.2. Beneficiary-Managed Payments - Razorpay (Direct)
Critical Information: When a Listing (Mosque/Madrasha) uses their own Razorpay credentials for receiving donations:
- Direct Transaction: Your payment goes directly to the Beneficiary's payment gateway account. MeritLife Technologies does not touch, hold, or control these funds.
- No Authority to Refund: We have no technical or legal authority to process refunds for these transactions.
- Contact the Beneficiary: Any refund request, dispute, or inquiry must be directed exclusively to the Mosque or Madrasha that received your donation.
- Our Role: We act solely as a user interface facilitating the connection between You and the Beneficiary. We are not a party to the financial transaction.
2.3. Beneficiary-Managed Payments - UPI (Direct)
CRITICAL - UPI Transactions: When a Listing provides their own UPI ID for receiving donations:
- Instant & Direct Transfer: UPI payments are transferred instantly and directly from Your bank account to the Beneficiary's bank account through the UPI network. MeritLife Technologies never touches, holds, or has any access to these funds.
- Zero Control: We have absolutely no technical or legal ability to reverse, cancel, or refund UPI transactions. Once you confirm the payment in your UPI app, the transaction is immediate and final.
- Your Responsibility: You are responsible for verifying the UPI ID and beneficiary name shown in your UPI app before confirming payment. Always check that the name matches the Mosque or Madrasha you intend to donate to.
- Contact the Beneficiary Directly: For any refund requests or disputes related to UPI donations, you must contact the Mosque or Madrasha directly. They are the only party who can potentially return funds to you from their bank account.
- Bank-Level Resolution: If you believe a UPI transaction was fraudulent or made in error, contact your bank immediately. MeritLife Technologies cannot assist with UPI transaction disputes.
3. Advertisement Purchases - No Refunds Policy
All advertisement purchases are final and non-refundable once payment is processed.
3.1. No Cancellation After Payment
- Once an advertisement campaign is paid for, it cannot be cancelled.
- You cannot receive a refund for unused advertising time or impressions.
- If your advertisement is not yet live, you may request modifications to the content, but no refund will be provided.
3.2. Advertisement Rejection
If We reject your advertisement for violating our Content Guidelines (as outlined in our Terms and Conditions):

- Modification Opportunity: You may be given one opportunity to modify the advertisement to comply with our policies, at our sole discretion.
- Final Decision: Our decision to reject an advertisement is final and not subject to appeal.
